Rev. Monsignor Peter D. Nugent Msgr. Peter Nugent was born in Moncton, New Brunswick in Canada on April 4, 1936. One of seven siblings, he moved with his family to Los Angeles in 1949. A parishioner of St. Alphonsus Church in East Los Angeles, he spent his high school years at Los Angeles College, a prep school for the Archdiocesan Seminary. After receiving his bachelor degree at St. John’s Seminary and finishing his theology studies, he was ordained from there in 1962 for the Los Angeles Archdiocese. Earning a master’s degree in music from USC, Msgr. Peter taught music and liturgy at St. John’s Seminary for fourteen years, and returned to pastoral work in 1979. Msgr. Nugent served as pastor at St. John the Baptist Church in Baldwin Park and Santa Clara Church in Oxnard before coming to St. John Eudes parish in 2001. |

Rev. William McLean, Senior Priest
Father Bill McLean was born in Boston, MA in 1944. He lived there and was educated in Catholic schools until he was 11 years old. In 1955 he moved to Long Beach, CA where he attended St. Anthony Elementary School and one year at St. Anthony High School. In 1957 he entered Queen of the Angels High School Junior Seminary in San Fernando from which he graduated in 1961. Then he matriculated to St. John’s College Seminary in Camarillo from which he graduated in 1965. He moved on to graduate school at St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo and was ordained in 1969. He has served as associate and as pastor in many parishes in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, including several parishes with Spanish-speaking ministry. He served as pastor at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (Rosehill) and St. Athanasius in Long Beach before coming to St. John Eudes in July of 2007. |

Deacon Robert Seidler, Pastoral Administrator I was born in Inglewood, California and raised in Burbank. I was the middle of three sons. I attended St. Patrick's School in North Hollywood and Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks. I graduated from St. John's Seminary College with a B.A. Degree in Philosophy and served 5 years active duty in the U.S. Air Force, including 2 tours of duty in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. I am married and my wife , Pon and I are proud parents of 2 adult children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. I am a Certified Grief Recovery Counselor. I was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacon on Jun 13, 1998. I served on the Archiocesan Deacon Council from 1999-2003, representing the Deacon couples of the San Fernando Region. I chaired the Archdiocesan Deacon Council 2001-2003, I am currently a member of the San Fernando Regional Pastoral Council. I am also currently a Stational Deacon at the Cathedral of Our Lady of The Angels with the responsibility of training new Stational Deacons. I am a member of the Medical Reserve Corps of Los Angeles. As Deacon I have served at St. Patrick's parish in North Hollywood and Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Parish in Santa Clarita |
